Information we collect

When you enquire or book with Garden Centre Resort, we collect only what we need to respond and serve you well: your name, phone number, email address, the dates and details of your enquiry, and any preferences you share with our coordinator. For guests staying overnight, we also collect the standard identification required by Bangladeshi hospitality regulations at check-in.

Our website uses standard cookies for performance, analytics (Google), and advertising attribution (Meta) where these tools are enabled. You can disable cookies in your browser settings at any time.

How we use it

Your information is used to confirm your booking, communicate during your stay or event, send invoices and receipts, and — only if you opt in — share occasional updates about the resort. We do not sell or rent your data to third parties. We do not market our services to anyone who has not enquired with us.

Sharing and processors

We share information only with the operational tools we use to run the resort: payment processors for transactions, email and messaging providers (including Resend and WhatsApp) to reply to you, our cloud hosting provider, and — where required — Bangladeshi tax authorities for VAT-compliant invoicing. Each of these processes data on our instructions and is bound to keep it confidential.

Retention

Enquiry records are kept for as long as we may need to follow up on them, typically up to twenty-four months. Booking and invoicing records are retained for the period required under Bangladeshi tax and accounting law. You can request deletion of any data we hold about you at any time — see contact below.

Your choices

You may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to us at the contact below and we will respond within a reasonable time. You may also unsubscribe from any optional communications by replying STOP to a message or asking your coordinator.

Security

We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data — encrypted connections, access controls, and limited internal access on a need-to-know basis. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach were ever to affect your data, we would notify you promptly.
